Mushrooms on Toast

Serves 4



55g butter
2 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves, sliced
250g mushrooms, sliced (button, crimini, oyster or similar)
1½ tsp Cornish Sea Salt Garlic
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp Aleppo pepper (or use chilli flakes)
5 sprigs fresh thyme


Mushrooms on Toast


  • Over a medium heat, melt the butter with the oil. Fry the sliced mushrooms until they start to brown.
  • Add the sliced garlic cloves, Cornish Sea Salt Garlic, pepper, Aleppo or chilli flakes and thyme. Cook together until golden.
  • Lightly toast the sour dough and top with the garlic mushrooms.
  • To finish, add extra thyme sprigs to garnish.
