Cornish Sea Salt Salted Radishes

50gm unsalted, good quality butter
1 bunch of assorted radishes
Cornish Sea Salt Flakes, Original or Smoked (you choose)


A healthy alternative canape using fresh radishes from the garden.

Cornish Sea Salt Salted Radishes


  • Rinse the radishes thoroughly.
  • Cut off the end ready to be dipped into the butter.
  • In a small bowl, microwave the butter for about 25-30 seconds – or until the butter is barely half melted.
  • Remove from microwave and whisk until the consistency is smooth and thick and the colour is pale (similar to mayonnaise consistency).
  • Dip the radishes into the tempered butter and place onto a tray.
  • Finish by sprinkling salt over the top and put it into the fridge or freezer until the butter has set.
  • Serve.
